Mu Alpha Theta Honor Society
Club Description: Mu Alpha Theta is a math honor society for high school and 2-year junior colleges. One of the goals of Mu Alpha Theta is to encourage an interest of mathematics in those students who have been found to have excelled in mathematics. Throughout the year, there are several competitions for all levels of mathematics, ranging from the regional to national level. There are two divisions for each subject: Individuals and Teams. The students participate, as well, in exams offered by the Universities in the state of Florida, they celebrate pi day (March 14) and have fun doing math.
Requirements: 3.0 GPA in mathematics and overall, be willing to have fun with mathematics and go to competitions.
